Thanks to Randy for creating this blog and sending the invitations.

I know the RFP listserve that we've received some forwarded messages from the "Daily Mislead" listserve. For those who want to subscribe to the Mislead listserve, see this website: Misleader.org: Daily Mislead.

I pass along many of these pieces to teachers in our writing program, for them to use in appropriate situations with students (when it fits a topic in the class; when the rhetorical moves relate to analyses teachers might be exploring). The Mislead site provides valuable perspective, not found readily in public media. I'm trying to find ways to disseminate this kind of information more widely, fearing that too many readers / subscribers of these kinds of sites are already informed.

Another idea/ thought: what if members of this organization--RFP--composed similar articles / editorials, with rhetorical analyses? Perhaps the Mislead site managers would welcome contributions?
